Wow!!! Can you believe I finally updated? Traejen turned 8, I turned 40, and Quincee turned 13....all in August. It was a busy month...with school starting as well. All the kids are in school now-where did the time go? My 3 hours of freedom are easily filled...

Xavier is 15!!!

I can't believe Xavier is now 15. He is currently taking driver's ed. He is such a great example to everyone in our family, but especially to his two younger brothers. This picture is about 5 years ago. He used to read Bionicle comics to Traejen and sing to him to help him fall asleep. Happy 15th Xavier!!!

Brevin is 5!!!! Happy Birthday

I can hardly believe that Brevin is 5. He is full of energy and enjoys life. He is really into coloring and painting right now. He loves video games, webkins, digging in the dirt or sand, playing with friends and cousins picking dandelions and sneaking cookies. I just registered him for Kindergarten and he is very excited to go to school with Traejen on the bus. He is reading well and prints very neatly. He has recently started playing t-ball with his friend Pyper. Dane says they are ultra silly together....I can't believe that!

Easter-09

The kids are smiling all at one time....can you believe it? We hunted for Eggs at the Caldwell Egg hunt, then went to the last part of Traejen's soccer game, then had our annual egg hunt that evening. We had an extended family dinner at our house the next evening.

Xavier-tennis

Xavier just finished his tennis season. He and his friend Connor placed 1st in Boys' Doubles at the Columbia Freshmen Tournament earlier this season. Xavier moved up to JV about half way through the season. He finished 2nd in a JV tournament in Parma later in the season. He played Boy's singles toward the end. He improved a lot and had a good time.

Home Teachers

The lizards came home teaching last weekend. We have great home teachers and they have geckos that Quincee loves and begs to keep. They have brought them to visit a few times and have really gone out of their way to make the kids happy. I do not enjoy the scaley guys, but fortunately, Quincee put one right in my lap last time. I did survive.

Traejen basketball

Traejen had fun in basketball with Dane coaching. He often wore a headband to keep his hair out of his eyes. This is a comical picture of him running down court. He had 10 point in one of his games! Here are some pictures of the three oldest playing slam dunk and posing in their uniforms.

Basketball is over?

Basketball is over for the most part. Xavier is now playing part of the time on his school AAU team in between tennis matches. He is now just under 6 feet tall. He will out grown Dane this summer I am quite sure. He is playing part of the time on the Freshman tennis team and fills in on the JV from time to time. Quincee has now started tennis on the "A" team at her middle school. Traejen has started soccer, but wants to go hit the tennis ball every day...so he is usually out hitting the ball against the garage. Brevin will try tennis this summer and likes to try to hit a few.

Crazy Quincee

Quincee went to a birthday party and came home like this....Xavier asked if it was permanent!

Brevin new 'do

Brevin has a new 'do.....Most people have commented on how much he looks like Xavier. We always thought this, but most people who have made this comment have not seen Xavier in a bowl cut when he was 4! Brevin looks a lot older.

Busy Life

Alright......(Hallie)-I know we are all busy.....Here are some current photos. Xavier is just wrapping up his basketball season. He and Quincee start tennis in 2 weeks!!! Traejen is in the middle of his basketball season (Dane is coaching). Brevin has one more Mini Vikes -Sharks soccer game (Quincee is helping me coach with Travis Palmer and Kim Tuckett). Dane and I

just returned from 5 days without kids in San Francisco. The weather was about 70 every day and no fog or rain. We biked the bridge and beyond....about 20 miles in a day. That was my favorite part of the trip. When we returned, I had a huge PTA activity I was in charge of at Quincee's school. It went off successfully and now I can kind of catch up....:)

December Sledding

The kids got to sled and be pulled by the 4-wheeler quite a bit in December. It is great to have a big yard, an empty field behind us, and some great neighbors (Gpa & Gma Roedel) who happen to have a few hills to slide down.

Traejen-Citizen of the Month-December

Traejen was selected a the Citizen of the Month for December. This is a great honor at his school. The student can't have any missing homework, any discipline problems, have been absent or tardy and also must have been a citizen of the week one of the previous weeks. We are very proud of Traejen.
